JETS’ Summer 2025/2026 Junior registration is now open.
Registration for Junior (U8 – U20) players in Summer 2025/2026 is now open and closes 9 pm Monday, 8th September 2025.
Please see the note below about the closure date.
The Summer season commences on the 11th /12th of October 2025. Grand Finals will be held on 28th/29th March 2026. Boys’ game day is Saturday, and Girls’ game day is Sunday.
Summer 2025/2026 Fees:
• $300 per child with a 5% discount for subsequent children. This covers the MBA team sheet fees for the 15 minor rounds, plus JETS expenses for the season.
• $32 BV Fee per child- every player will be required to pay an annual fee of $32 (17 and under) or $46 (18 or over) directly to Basketball Victoria. This charge will be applied the first time you register a player with any club, league, or association in Victoria. The BV fee covers the 12 months commencing the season when your child starts to play. PlayHQ will automatically determine when the payment of the licence is due to be renewed.
• Annual Basketball Australia Game Development Levy of $5.50 (+GST) per competition player will be introduced nationwide.
• $90 Association player & spectators door entry – this is the fixed door fee for each player and spectator (MBA are only charging for one spectator) and is paid upon registration directly to the MBA. This does not include entry to finals.
Note: The above fees do not include the finals team sheet fee. These fees will be charged per team on game day.

Your registration will not be accepted until online payment has been received (PlayHQ will email you a paid invoice)
Note: If you are new to the JETS, please ensure you have purchased a uniform during this registration process in PlayHQ.
If you are coming from another club, the registration will not be finalised until the clearance is approved by the original club and the MBA
PLEASE NOTE – Our registrations CLOSE MONDAY, 8th SEPTEMBER at 9 pm.
Our volunteer age group coordinators are responsible for putting teams together for the season. Neither coaches, team managers, nor parents are to make any commitments or promises of team makeup. Coordinators will form teams based on
registrations received at the close of registrations.
Late registrations will only be accepted if there are spots available. They will not be guaranteed a place in an existing team or with friends they nominate to play with. Late registrations will also incur an additional $50 administrative fee.
Please give careful consideration to the questions during registration. The coordinators will use the information you provide to help put teams together, particularly regarding playing with friends or in higher grades. If there are a lot of new players and players wishing to play in higher grades, then the coordinator may choose to hold a grading session. In that case the club will advise.
Please be aware that the MBA has a points system for representative players, which limits the number of rep players that can be in one team. This will also need to be considered when coordinators are forming teams.
Summer 2025/2026 Season birth year requirements:
U20 – 2007/ 2008 (Boys-only comp. Sunday games)
U18 – 2009 / 2010
U16 – 2011 / 2012
U14 – 2013 / 2014
U12 – 2016 / 2015
U10 – 2017 / 2018
U08 – 2019 / 2020
There will be no U20 female competition in the Summer 2025/2026 season, therefore, female players born in 2007 and 2008 will need to register in the OPEN WOMENS SENIOR competition. Please email

Summer Season Dates
• Regular games (16 rounds) are to commence the 11th and 12th of October 2025 and end the 14th and 15th of March 2026.
• Training will commence the week beginning Monday, 6th October 2025.
• Grand Final weekend is the 28th/29th of March 2026.
Note: Games are not played during government school holidays or on public holiday weekends.
