Winter 2024 Junior Registration has been CLOSED

Registration for Junior (U8 – U20) players in Winter 2024 is now CLOSED.

The MBA plan to hold 16 regular rounds and 2 weeks of finals, commencing on 20th/ 21st April. Grand Final will be held on 14th/ 15th September. Boys' game day is Saturday and girls' game day is Sunday.

Winter 2024 Fees: *LATE FEES NOW Apply*
• $350 per child with a 5% discount for subsequent children.
• $29 BV Fee per child- every player will be required to pay an annual fee of $29 (17 and under) or $43 (18 or over) directly to Basketball Victoria. This will be charged the first time you register a player with any Club/League/Association in Victoria. The BV fee covers the 12 months commencing the season when your child starts to play. PlayHQ will automatically determine when payment of the licence is due to be renewed.
• From 1st January, 2024 an Annual Basketball Australia Game Development Levy of $5 (+GST) per competition player will be introduced nationwide.

Note: Above fees do not include finals team sheet fee. These fees will be charged per team on game day.

Your registration will not be accepted until online payment has been received (PlayHQ will email you a paid invoice)

Player & Spectator Door Fee

$96 Association Player & Spectators door entry – this is the fixed door fee for each player and spectators (MBA are only charging for one spectator) and is paid upon registration directly to MBA.

Winter 2024 Season birth year requirements:
U20 – 2005 / 2006 (boys only comp Sunday games)
U18 – 2007 / 2008
U16 – 2009 / 2010
U14 – 2011 / 2012
U12 – 2013 / 2014
U10 – 2015 / 2016
U08 – 2017 / 2018

There will be no U20 female competition in the Winter 2024 season, therefore female players born in 2005 and 2006 will need to register in the OPEN WOMENS SENIOR competition. Please email admin@ormondjets.com.au for more information.

Winter Season Dates
Games are to commence 20th/ 21st April 2024 and end 31st August/ 1st September 2024.
Training will commence the week beginning Monday 15th April 2024.
• Grand Final – weekend of the 14th/ 15th September 2024.
• Games are not played during government school holidays or on public holiday weekends.
